For NIR’s publications,  presentations at professional meetings, and talks at corporate symposia, we try to offer commentary that utilizes imagery to make the point in novel, creative, and entertaining fashion. The intent is to provoke thought, though some of these images may be provocative in other ways. The goal is not snarkiness for its own sake: With the challenges that perennially confront the neurotherapeutics area, expending resources on irrelevant, ill-conceived, or sloppy programs is a luxury that the industry cannot afford and should not accept–and the challenges endemic to neuroscience require that a sense of humor be maintained.
